PokéPark to open in Taiwan

PokéPark is an amusement park that brings the world of Pokémon closer to home! It’s an adventure-filled wonderland where Pokémon fans can run with legendary Pokémon, get lost in the forest full of wild Pikachu, splash their way along with Mudkip, and embark on a railway journey with playful Pichu Brothers. PokéPark will be open for 94 days between June 23 (Friday) and September 24 (Sunday), 2006 in Taipei, Taiwan. PokéPark was held in Nagoya, Japan, last year.

PokéPark is a theme park based on the world of “Pokémon,”a popular children’s franchise. It will be held for a limited period at the planned site of Taiwan Museum of Fine Art (tentative name) (39,291m2), adjacent to National Taiwan Science Education Center in the northwestern part of Taipei. The Park will comprise nine kinds of attractions, as well as an event stage, a food court and a shop.

Events include the ability to get special Pokémon, special guests, Pokémon Safari Adventure, 1.2.3 Blastoise GO!, a chace to watch Pokémon 3D movie, and much more!
